Emilie has been working at Foothill Pet Hospital (FPH) since 1986.  When Dr. Rittenberg (Dr. Ritt) took over FPH in 1997, Emilie officially and deservedly took on the role of Head Technician.

Emilie is involved in all aspects of FPH’s functioning including working closely with Dr. Ritt, training and supervising all our technicians and receptionists, triaging critical patients, obtaining lab samples for diagnostic testing, performing lab tests, performing x-ray procedures, administering anesthesia, administering treatments and medications, performing dental procedures, assisting in surgical procedures, assisting and speaking with clients, coordinating staff scheduling, interviewing prospective employees, and hiring of new staff members.

With her gentle, warm, thoughtful, intelligent and engaging personality, Emilie is loved by our clients and patients as well as the rest of our staff. 

Emilie is married, has two grown children and a very spoiled short-haired silver-gray tabby cat (Koko).  Emilie enjoys walking, hiking, biking and gardening.
